By default, our templates come with two taxonomies: 🔗 categories and tags. Custom taxonomy allows you to organize a group of posts in a unique way. This is specially common for long investigative series and guides, where each custom taxonomy holds many topic, and many topics accommodates a variety of articles.

For example, our publisher IndigiNews has a "Deep Dive" custom taxonomy. They use this custom taxonomy to package content into investigative series like their 🔗 Reproductive Health series, that holds a variety of articles.

This custom taxonomy appears on the post sidebar:

To add a new series to a custom taxonomy, click in Posts > Name of your custom taxonomy. In this example, it's called "Deep Dives".
