Product Demo: Mobile-Only Menu

Learn how to create a separate mobile menu, customize navigation links, and add a secondary menu row to improve usability on desktop and mobile.

You now have the option to create a separate menu dedicated specifically to mobile devices. By default, your mobile menu links will be consistent with your desktop links. However, you may choose to create a customized mobile menu to display more links or different links than those seen on your desktop.

To manage these settings, navigate to Appearance > Menus:

  • Identical Menus: If you want your links to remain the same on both desktop and mobile, select your main menu and assign it to both the "Main Menu" and "Mobile Menu" locations.

  • Independent Mobile Menu: To customize the order or display different links for mobile users, select the "Main Menu - Mobile" option.
  • Customization: Here, you can build a mobile menu independent of your desktop menu, allowing you to change the link order or add extra links specifically for mobile.
  • Saving Changes: Once you have customized your mobile menu, simply select it in the display locations and save.

Enhanced Navigation Features

  • Sub-menus: Styling and responsiveness for menus have been improved to support up to three levels of nested sub-menus with high usability.
  • Secondary Menus: You can also display a secondary row of menu items below your primary navigation row on both desktop and mobile. To do this, create a secondary menu, add your desired links, and assign it to the "Secondary Menu" location.
