Managing Your Ad Zones: How to toggle off or on Ad Zones

Learn how to quickly toggle on or toggle off ad zones in your dashboard to manage site layout.

If you have an active ad zone that you aren't currently using, toggling the ad zone off is a quick way to clean up your site’s layout and ensure empty placeholders don't appear to your visitors.

Follow these simple steps to manage your ad zone visibility.

Toggle off an Ad Zone

To turn off an ad space (such as "Post Zone 1") that is not currently in use:

  1. From the main dashboard, locate the left-hand navigation menu and click on Ads.

  2. Find the specific ad zone space you wish to deactivate from the list of available zones.

  3. Switch the toggle next to the zone name to the Off position.

  4. Click the Save button. Ensure you see a confirmation or that the page refreshes to verify the settings have been applied.

Note: Only the zones with an active toggle will be displayed on your site. All others will remain hidden.

Toggle on an Ad Zone

If you decide to run a new campaign and need to bring a zone back online:

  • Return to the Ads menu.

  • Find the inactive zone and switch the toggle back to On.

  • Save your changes. The zone will immediately begin implementing the ads assigned to it.

     

Note: If this is an inline ad zone, you will want to adjust the "insert at paragraph" setting to determine how many paragraphs into the post you wish the ad to display.
