How do you add PayPal to a contribution page?
A step-by-step guide on adding a PayPal hyperlink to your RevEngine contribution page as an alternative payment method for donors.
If you want to give your contributors the option to make payments via PayPal, you can include a simple hyperlink in a text block on your RevEngine contribution page.
Before you start:
- These instructions assume that you already have a PayPal account and a URL for people to submit payments to it.
- Adding a PayPal link to your page will require you to edit Rich Text blocks on your page. If you haven’t done this before or need a refresher, you can learn how to add addition text to your contribution page.
Things to know
RevEngine currently supports two third-party payment platforms: Apple Pay and Google Pay. Enabling these payment methods will add branded buttons for each one to your RevEngine contribution page.
We’ll add support for additional payments such as PayPal in the future, but for now, this isn’t built into your contribution page payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
