RevEngine automatically sends transactional emails to contributors after a successful payment is made. However, Stripe, our payment processor, also does this, which can be confusing to your contributors.
In this article, you’ll learn how to disable Stripe receipts via your Stripe dashboard to eliminate confusion.
You do not have the ability to disable RevEngine receipts.
If you only want Stripe receipts to be sent out, please email revenginesupport@fundjournalism.org and we will disable Engine receipts for you.
Disabling Stripe Receipts
To disable Stripe receipts:
- Log in to your Stripe dashboard
- Navigate to Settings > Business > Customer Emails
- Disable the “Successful payments” and “Refunds” options
- Create a test payment to ensure that you are only receiving RevEngine transactional emails
