How do I prompt contributors to give using a region or province in their address?

A quick guide to modifying address blocks in RevEngine, enabling side-by-side labels for states, provinces, and regions.

By default, contributors are asked to provide a state as part of their address information on contribution pages. To help guide users living outside of the United States, you may also prompt them for a province or region.

Changing address labels

To add province or region to the contributor’s address prompt:

  1. Login and navigate to the page editor
  2. In the Layout tab, find the Contributor Address block and enter its editor
  3. While state is a required label, you may enable or disable province and region as labels for your live contribution page using checkboxes
  4. Update the block and save your page when done making all page changes

If you selected multiple labels, they will all appear side-by-side “State/Province/Region”.
