How do I name my contribution page?

When you create a new contribution page in RevEngine, our platform will automatically give it a name. You can edit this name (which will appear in the top lefthand corner of the page editor, and under your page on the Engine dashboard) and also give it a unique identifier that will show up in its URL.

In this article, you will learn how to change your contribution page names so you can easily identify different pages and tailor them to different campaigns or events.

How to change your page name internally

After creating a page, you will find its name displayed in the top lefthand corner of the [age editor. This name is internal and not visible to contributors, but if you have multiple campaigns, it could be useful to rename it to make it easier to find from your RevEngine dashboard.

To rename a page:

1. Login to RevEngine
2. Open the page you wish to rename
3. Find the Edit icon at the top-left corner of the page and select it
4. Type in your desired page name and save the new name
5. Save your page by clicking on the Save icon on the left-side panel

How to choose a site and page name for your URL

When you finish creating a contribution page in RevEngine and hit publish, you’ll be prompted to customize its URL with a site name and a page name.

URLs for RevEngine contribution pages are structured so that they retain your brand and are easy for users to share. They include three components:

• Site name: This is auto-filled with the name of your organization, but can be customized if you are fundraising for different subsections or brands within your organization.
• Page name: This customizable component can be edited with a call to action such as “donate-now” or a campaign name such as “spring-campaign.”

Once you input your page name, click the Publish button to make your changes live.
