Many newsrooms offer benefits to members, such as entries to private events, branded merchandise, and special newsletters. These can be represented on your contribution page as a way of incentivizing contributors to give!
If you want to add your member benefits to your page, you have two options:
- List your benefits on a rich text block on your page sidebar, everyone can do this free of charge
- Use a stylized Member benefits block, available under paid RevEngine accounts
Using a rich text block
This options is best for those who want to heavily customize the copy of their benefits.
Here is an excellent example of how this could be configured, from Radio Ambulante.

Stylized member benefits
The stylized member benefits block are only available to organizations on Core and RevEngine + Salesforce.
For an improved visual experience, we recommend that you use stylized member benefits.
This feature helps establish a clear visual hierarchy on your page. In the below example you will see that all benefits are evenly spaced and listed with a checkmark. Clean, right?
How to display benefits in the sidebar
At this time, you cannot configure benefits yourself. Our team is happy to do this on your behalf, all you need to do is email support@indiegraf.com with the following:
- The name of each benefit level (“Bronze”, “Gold”, Premium”)
- The price interval for each benefit level (“$5-10 / yr”, “$40+ / year”, “$0-9 / year). Note that the amount must be expressed /yr
- A label and description of each benefit offered as a part of a benefit level (e.g. Philly Scoop mugs: “For your support, receive one of our branded mugs sourced from a small business“). This format is rigid, you must provide a name and description for each benefit
- The hexadecimal value for color that you would like to use on the colored checkboxes
