Product Demo: Sticky Header

Learn how to enable and customize the sticky header in version 2.x to keep your logo, social icons, and support buttons pinned while users scroll.

The sticky header is a popular feature added and upgraded in version 2.x. This feature allows you to keep essential elements, such as social media icons and your support button, pinned to the top of the screen as you scroll.

Key Features of the Sticky Header:

  • Responsive Design: When scrolling, the padding above and below the logo automatically reduces to save vertical space.
  • Mobile Functionality: On mobile devices, the logo, support button, and the mobile menu toggle remain pinned at the top.

How to Enable the Sticky Header:

By default, the sticky header is disabled. To enable it, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to Site Options.
  • Select Layout and then Header.
  • Here, you can choose to enable the feature globally across your entire site.

Overriding Settings for Specific Pages:

You can override your global settings for individual posts or pages:

  • Go to the specific page or post options.
  • Navigate to Layout Settings.
  • Toggle the sticky header to either enabled or disabled.
  • For example, you can disable the header globally but enable it specifically for your homepage.

Important Note:

The sticky header setting will not apply to the Immersive Story template, where the header is always disabled.
