How to Use the Image Slider Block
The image slider block allows you to create dynamic galleries for your website by uploading up to 30 images. This feature includes several customizable settings to control how your images and captions are displayed to your audience.
Adding an Image Slider
- Locate the Block: In your website editor, search for and select the "Image Slider" block.
- Upload Images: You can upload new images directly or select existing ones from your media library.
- Manage Captions: Captions can be customized immediately after choosing your images or later while editing the gallery.
- Edit the Gallery: To add, remove, or reorder images, click on the block and select the pencil icon.
Customization Settings
Once the block is added, you can access various settings in the sidebar to the right:
- Display Elements: You can choose to show or hide captions, navigation arrows, and pagination dots.
- Auto Height:
- Enabled: The slider's height dynamically adjusts to match the height of the specific image being viewed.
- Disabled: The slider height defaults to match the tallest image in your gallery.
- Image Alignment: If auto height is disabled, you can choose whether to vertically center your images or align them to the top of the slider.
- Autoplay: You can enable your slideshow to play automatically and customize the speed at which images transition. This feature is toggled off by default.
All customizations and settings applied to the image slider block are also compatible with mobile viewing.
