How to Install Google AdSense
-

- Once your account is created, please share access with our team using the email publisherguide@indiegraf.com.
-

Send your request to connect your Google AdSense account to your Indiegraf platform to our Indiegraf customer support team at support@indiegraf.com
-
Third, prepare your Google AdSense account configuration:
- Create Ad Units
You need to create ad units for each ad zone you want to use. The most common ones are:
- A leaderboard header ad (728x90)
- A top sidebar ad (300x250)
- A bottom sidebar ad (300x250 o 300x600)
- Ads embedded within the content of your posts (any size you prefer, but 300x250 is one of the most popular formats).
📚 For additional help, you can find a Google help article explaining the steps to create a display ad unit click HERE.
- Turn Off the Auto Ads Option (Optional but Recommended):
This is an extremely aggressive programmatic tool that automatically inserts ads into every available space on your site. This slows down your website and negatively impacts your readers' user experience. - Generate and Send Us the Specific HTML Codes (Ad Scripts) for Each Ad Zone:
To complete the configuration between your AdSense ads and your website, we will need you to send us the script codes for each of your ad zones.
Please follow these steps within your Google AdSense account to get the codes needed for the configuration: - Log in to your Google AdSense account
- In the left sidebar menu, click on Ads
- At the top of the screen, select the By ad unit tab
- Click on the Display ads option, which is the standard and most recommended format
- Give the ad block a clear name in the top left corner (for example: "Indiegraf Sidebar" or "Indiegraf Top Banner")
- In the right panel, leave the size setting as Responsive so the ad automatically adapts to mobile and desktop screen
- Click the blue Create button located at the bottom
- On the next screen, the HTML code snippet will appear. Click the Copy code snippet button
- Repeat this process for each ad zone you want to implement and send those HTML codes (code snippets) to us.
Can Google AdSense Be Added to Indie Email Campaigns?
We can only display image ads in designated email zones.
This is because email platforms have strict security protocols that block the scripts used by ad networks like Google AdSense. This limitation is industry-wide and is designed to protect recipients from potential security risks.
