Creating a Custom Form on Your Website

Hello there. In this video, we will learn how to create a custom form on your website.

By default, your site probably already has a form under the Contact Us page. To see all your existing forms, navigate to your site dashboard and then go down to Forms. Here, you can see all your forms, both active or inactive, organized into the following six columns: Status, Title, ID, Entries, Views, and Conversion.

Creating a New Form

Next, let's learn how to create a brand new form. You can do that either through the same left column here under New Form or you can create one at the top where it says Add New.

You'll see that we have a lot of different templates. Explore them and see if you like something, or you can choose to create a blank form.

Next, add a title and a description. This will create your blank form. All you have to do now is drag the different kinds of options and elements from your right side to create the form that you want. There are different options here, from names, dates, times, and phone numbers, as well as your usual text standard text fields, such as title and content, etc. Once you have it all set up, all you have to do is save the form.

Adding the Form to a Page or Post

Finally, let's take a look at how we can add the form to a page or post.

Once you have your post ready to go, you can go up here to the button on your top right that says Embed. Once you click it, you can see the different options.

  1. Adding to existing content: If you already have a page or a post ready, all you have to do is select it here, find it, and select it.

  2. Creating a brand new page or post: By adding a name here and creating it.

Another way to add the form into a post or page is by copying the shortcode down here. All you have to do is click on it, and then you can take that shortcode and add it to your actual page or post.
