📧 Indie Email Account Overview
This is an overview of where to find everything in your Indie email account. Your main menu is on the left-hand side of your screen and appears immediately after you log in to your dashboard.
Main Menu Sections (ESP)
The main menu gives you access to all the core sections of the Email Service Provider (ESP):
-
Contacts
-
This is where all your email subscribers are stored.
-
You can see a list of who is subscribed and filter them by tag, list, or status (such as active).
-
A secondary menu appears to help you segment, categorize, and organize your contacts (more details in other videos).
-
-
Campaigns (or Emails)
-
This is the main list of your emails, including drafts, sent emails, and emails you are currently working on.
-
The secondary menu on the left also contains Campaign Templates, where you save templates to create new emails (more details in other videos).
-
-
Automations
-
These are automated emails or workflows that run in the background.
-
They help keep things running smoothly, such as sending emails to new readers or donors.
-
-
Website
-
This section is where you can find your forms.
-
Importantly, this includes the Update Email Preferences form that is linked in the footer of your emails.
-
-
Reports
-
This is the last icon in the main menu.
-
Once you start sending emails, this is where you will find all the data for them, including:
-
Open rate
-
Click rate
-
Unsubscribes
-
Contact trends
-
... and so much more.
-
-
Note: In a demo account, there is no data, but reports will populate as soon as emails are sent.
