How to Manage Analytic Date Ranges
Learn how to customize date ranges and chart settings in your Analytics dashboard. Understand data limits and tracking for newly activated instances.
Getting the right insights often depends on looking at the right timeframe. Whether you need a quick 30-day snapshot or a deep dive into historical data, here is how you can customize your view.
Customizing the Overview Tab
By default, the Overview tab displays data from the last 30 days. However, you can adjust the timeframe for individual charts to focus on specific trends.
-
Navigate to the chart you wish to modify.
-
Hover your mouse over the specific chart to reveal hidden controls.
-
Click on the Gear Icon appearing in the corner of the chart.
-
Choose your preferred timeframe from the options in the dropdown menu.
Deep-Dive Analysis (Other Tabs)
For all tabs located on the left-hand navigation, you have the flexibility to set a custom date range for the entire page.

-
The Date Selector: Look for the button labeled "Last 30 Days" (located at the top left of the page).
-
Custom Ranges: Click this button to open a calendar or dropdown where you can select predefined ranges (e.g., Last 7 days, Year to Date) or input a specific custom start and end date.
Important: Data Availability
While the Analytics tool is designed to support up to 2 years of historical tracking, it’s important to note how data is collected:
-
Integration-Based: Data collection begins only after the tool is integrated into your Indiegraf Website.
As you continue to use the platform, your historical data will continue to build up to the 2-year limit.
