How to duplicate a template in Indie Email

Learn how to duplicate and edit an Indie Email campaign template so you can update content without overwriting your original design.

If you like the design of an existing campaign template, but want to change specific elements, duplicating your template can help. This will ensure the overall design remains the same while allowing you to make the desired changes. To duplicate and edit a template in Indie Email, please follow these steps to make sure you create a fresh version without overwriting your original design.

  1. Go to Indie Email along your left-hand navigation menu and then go to Campaigns > Regular Campaigns> My Templates.

  2. Find the original template you wish to copy.

  3. Click the dropdown arrow, then select Duplicate from the menu options.

  4. Add a name and click the Duplicate button to create the new template.

  5. To edit the template, click Edit under the new template.

  6. Modify Content: Swap out images, update your copy, or adjust button links as needed.

  7. Once you are happy with your edits, click Save or Close in the top-right corner.
