How do I edit the text at the top of my contribution page?
RevEngine allows you to add a custom Form Panel Heading via the Setup tab and style its background color by adjusting the Accents in the Style tab.
You may want to add a heading to the top of the contribution form. In RevEngine, you can do this by modifying your Form Panel Heading.
While newsrooms with a more minimalist branding will choose to omit this type of heading and instead use a rich text block, this serves as a great opportunity to add another layer of customization to your page.
How to edit the form panel heading
- Sign in to your account at RevEngine
- Select the page you’d like to edit from the Pages section of your RevEngine dashboard
- Select the Edit icon in the main menu to open the page editor
- Select the Setup tab
- Scroll down to the field titled Form Panel Heading
- Once you edit your heading, save your changes at the bottom of the Setup tab
- Select View at the top of the main menu to see your page as your audience would see it
- Save your page by clicking the Save icon
How do I change the color in the form panel heading?
The form panel is distinct from an introductory rich text block in that its background takes on your page’s accent color.
To set or modify your page’s accent color:
- Sign in at RevEngine
- Click on the page you wish to modify to enter the page editor
- Navigate to the Style tab
- Provide a hex code value (or manually pick a color) for your page’s Accents. This will serve as the background color of your form panel heading
- Save your changes to the Style tab. You should now see your page editor update so that you can visualize the styled page before saving
- When done making edits, save your page by clicking the Save icon on the left panel
