[Customizing your page](https://help.indiegraf.com/revengine?hsLang=en#customizing-your-page) May 22, 2026 # How do I add additional text to my contribution page? ## RevEngine allows you to customize your contribution page by adding and formatting rich text blocks within the Layout or Sidebar tabs. RevEngine contribution pages come pre-filled with placeholder text. You can edit this text and rearrange where it appears by using **Rich text blocks** in our page editor. In this article, you’ll learn how to use rich text blocks to add additional information to your contribution page. ### **Things to know about text** - Changing the **font** and **color** of your text will require a change to its page style. - The **text** on your page is configured in RevEngine’s page editor. There are two places in the editor where you can add and rearrange text: - The **Layout tab** is where you can configure content on the main section of your page - The **Sidebar** **tab** is where you arrange content on the right side - You may add as many text blocks as you’d like to these two sections. ### **How to add rich text blocks** 1. Sign in at [RevEngine](https://engine.fundjournalism.org/sign-in) 2. Select the page you’d like to edit from the **Pages** section of your RevEngine dashboard 3. Select the **Edit icon** in the main menu to open the page editor 4. Depending on where you want to add text, navigate to the page editor’s **Layout** or **Sidebar** tab 5. Click on the **Plus icon** to add a block 6. Select the **Rich Text** block, then drag and drop it so it appears where you want on the page. ### **Editing a Rich Text Block** Now that you’ve added rich text blocks to your page, let’s add some content. To start, click the **Edit icon** in each text block to open the text editor. **Here, you’ll be able to:** - Enter and format text - Change the size of text, or set it to serve as a header or body - Hyperlink text to outside URLs or email addresses - Organize text into block quotes, bullet points, or ordered lists - Align text to the left, right, and center When you are done: 1. Save changes at the bottom of the **Layout** or **Sidebar** tab 2. Select **View** at the top of the main menu to see your page as your audience would see it 3.
