How do I add a social card for sharing on Facebook and Twitter?

RevEngine supports JPEG and PNG social cards, allowing Core and +SF plan users to request custom images and text for Facebook and Twitter sharing.

Accepted Image Types for Social Cards

RevEngine supports social cards in JPEG and PNG format.

Social cards are a great way to maintain branding when contributors ask their friends and family to join your fundraising efforts via Facebook and Twitter.

A generic RevEngine social card is used by default, but you can request customizations if you are on a RevEngine Core or RevEngine + SF plan.

Requesting a custom social card

Please send us an email at support@indiegraf.com.

In your request, please provide the following:

  1. The image that will be used as the social card background
  2. The card header text (usually something like “Join [Newsroom Name]”
  3. Accompanying body text (typically 1-2 lines that serve as a call to action)

For your social card image, our team recommends an image with dimensions of 1600px by 900px.
