Can contributions be made from outside the US and Canada?

A guide on accepting international donations, troubleshooting common donor payment errors, and understanding the security quarantine process.

In most cases, RevEngine can accept donations from anywhere in the world if the contributor’s payment method is supported by Stripe (i.e. Visa, Mastercard, etc.).

If an international contributor encounters a payment rejection, it is often due to common issues, including: a mismatch between the postal code on their card and the one they entered, insufficient funds, or a transaction being rejected by their bank.

If you experience any difficulties with international donations, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team. We’d be happy to take a look!

Quarantine

International donations are more likely to be temporarily quarantined as potential bad actors, as a lot of card testing fraud originates outside of the U.S.

However, Hub staff review quarantined contributions to approve any incorrectly flagged gifts. To learn more, please read this article.
